2020 PRO E85 CHAMPION

As Pro e85 wrapped up the season at Great Lakes Dragaway this last Saturday , we had  very exciting semis and final round races. We had 12 cars show up Saturday. Unfortunately,Martin “Lumberjack “Johnson, Tim “Broke Ass” Johnson, Chris”Swanky”Swentko, Butch”Killer” Klibofske and John”Dream Crusher”Blanchard all had car issues and could not make First round. After 2 rounds of qualifying Rob”Overkill”Vinezeano walked away with the Reliable Diesel Performance # Qualifier with a 8.901. Butch”Big Dog “Smith got Valpo Muffler Wheelie bonus. Joe”Blown Crazy” Beach got another Whites Pit Stop Fan Favorite award along with the DaVinci  Carburetor-reaction time bonus with a .022 and  the Great lakes Welding supply Runner up bonus and Great Lakes Welding Supply Bounty Hunter Bonus for eliminating Frank”Assassin “Morgan in semi finals, also got Crown point Langels Pizza and USA Tools Bonuses and HPL Superior Lubricant runner up bonus.Randy with only his second season with Pro e85 is a 2 time Champ. Final was set between Joe”Blown Crazy “Beach and Randy Lee”Yellow Dog” with Randy getting the win and the 2020 proe85racing.com  Championship. “Yellow Dog”  got the Crown point Langels Pizza, USA Tools Winner Bonuses along with HPL Superior Lubricants winner Bonus and Right Way Truck and Trailer  Repair 60ft bonus with a 1.15 .With the end-of the season, we would like to thank everyone that supports our group.  Saturday we had 16 cars show up for the Time Machine Nationals in front of a packed house. Butch”Killer”Klibofske returned after almost 2 seasons. Duane”Crusher”Waldrop came but had car issues and could not make a pass. Wally” Waldopepper “Sutherland blew a head gasket Friday night and tore engine apart to make Round 2 of Qualifying. Martin” Lumberjack “Johnson also had some car issues. Would like to thank Butch Smith,Crazy-k Smith,Myra Zane Smith-Robinson and Nurse Helen for helping Noah the 2 year who had a seizure in the pits and  helping until the EMT Showed up, all i can say is we racing families are Awesome.  After 2 rounds of qualifying Rob”Overkill “Vinezeano grabes the Reliable Diesel “1 qualifying with a 8.902. We had 4 rounds of racing with Frank”Assassin”Morgan and Mike Phipps “Ghost” in the final in front of Thousands of people. “Assassin” came out on top and got the win with his Dorthy Morgan and his family and friends all there to share his win.Here are the Bonus winners. Race results from July 18th at NSCB. We had 14 cars qualify. “Mopar” John Szfran got the Realiable Diesel Performance Bonus with a 8.901, top 10 Drivers all qualified within the 8:90s. Butch”Big Dog” Smith got  the Valpo Muffler Higest wheelie bonus and the Great Lakes Welding Supply Bounty Hunter Bonus for taking out John “Dream Crusher” Blanchard in first round.Joe”Blown Crazy” Beach got the Whites Pit Stop fan favorite award. Duane”Crusher” Waldrop got the Right Way Truck and Trailer repair 60ft bonus with a 1.18.After 4 rounds of racing the finals were set, Rich”Burnout” Black vs Randy Lee” Yellow Dog”. Randy ran a 8.89 to Riches 8.94 , with Rich”Burnout Black” Finally getting his first Pro e85 victory. Also Rich got the Dan DaVinci reaction time bonus with a .005 against “Yellow Dog “in the final, also got the Auto Value Best Burnout and Longest Wheelie Bonus, Great lakes Welding Supply, Langels Pizza, HPL Superior  Lubricant and Dave Zambon USA tool Winner bonus. Randy Lee”Yellow Dog” also Langels Pizza and Dave Zambon USA tools Runner up Bonus. Proe85racing.com finally finished our first race  of the season. The day started out perfect for the 16 Pro e85 drivers showing up to race at Area41 Drags at Us41 Dragstrip, however mother nature tried to stop us. After the down pour we raced our first race of the season with Rob Vinezeano getting the Reliable Diesel Performance #1 qualifier with a 8.92 . Average qualifying for 16 cars was 8.98sec. This  group is getting tougher and tougher. John “Dream Crusher “Blanchard won our first race against Rob”Overkill”Vinezeano in the finals. John Blanchard also won our first Dan Davinci Performance carbs reaction time bonus with a .017. Second round average reaction time was .058. Martin “Lumberjack”Johnson won the Auto Value best Burnout Bonus, Mopar”John Szfran got the Valpo Muffler Highest wheelie bonus and Rich “Burnout”Black got the Auto Value Longest Wheelie Bonus. John Blanchard and Rob Vinezeano also got the Dave Zambon  USA Tools and Langels Pizza Bonus along with HPL Superior lubricants bonus. John Blanchard also won the Great Lakes welding supply winner bonus. John “Dream Crusher” Blanchard walked away with the Great Lakes Welding Supply Bounty Hunter bonus for eliminating Tim Johnson ( previous race winner 2019).
